Mother Harry surprises herself A cow named Harry has surprised her owner Ron Doyle of Matchedash Township with guadruplets. Born April 2, the calves have been dubbed Eeney, Meeney, Miney, and No. Doyle says he can tell them all apart. "'They're like two sets of twins. One set is lighter in colour'. Doyle had no idea Harry was able to become a multiple mother. The five-year-old Holstein has previously given birth to six calves one at a time. Doyle was the midwife for the big event. 'She has the first one herself and I brought the rest". Area veterinarian Tom Henderson says its the first quadruple calf birth he has heard of. Meanwhile, mother Harry and her four babies (three Heifers and one bull) are all doing well and Doyle says the four calves are gaining splendidly.
