The new monthly : total at the single rate for persons receiving both the basic Old Age Security pension and maximum Guaranteed Income Supplement will be $230.42. For a married couple who are both pensioners, the combination of the basic pension and maximum __ supplement * will provide a payment of $439.56 for monthly. The basic Old Age Security pension will rise in April to $135.43 from the present $132.90. The maximum Guaranteed Income Supplement for a single person, or a married person whose spouse is not a pensioner and is not receiving a Spouse's Allowance, will go up in April to $94.99 from its current $93.22. The maximum __ supplement for a married couple, both pensioners, will increase to $84.35 each from $82.78.
