Citizen sports beat | : Second section Wednesday, March 31, 1976 MARSHALL REAL ESTATE LIMITED REALTOR BS "A REAL ESTATE BROKER FOR 30 YEARS" 265 KING ST.__ MIDLAND 526-2293 ye Recreation Scene by Ron Marchildon '#Penetanguishene recreation coordinator This week the Penetanguishene Minor Hockey program ended for the season. It seems to have been a very successful year with the All-Star teams all doing very well. The House League also ran very well again this year. Our congratulations to the executive, coaches, managers etc. for a job well done. A reminder that the Figure Skating Club will be holding their carnival on April 10, and that a good turnout of spectators would certainly help to support the club. Soccer coaches are again needed for the coming year or minor soccer will have difficulty operating. Minor softball is another sport which is not going to get off the ground this summer unless I receive a good number of phone calls in the next few weeks. If teams are to be entered into the Ontario Championships I must have coaches and managers come forward in the next few weeks, so that entry fees can be sent in and players certificates obtained. Larry Dion opened the scoring for Emery's at 14:55 of the first period in a goalmouth scramble. Penetang Marine goalie Garry Ronald stopped shots by Jim Lethbridge and Dan Dubeau before Dion, who was uncovered in front of the crease, slid the puck past his right side.
