Town police Despite the influx of tourists and the carnival at- mosphere of centennial celebrations, there were not any major law and order problems during the first half of Old Home Week. Police Chief John Geere claims that Penetanguishene's centennial week celebrations haven't given the town force any extra problems. The men had a total of 15 accidents and 102 general occurrences to investigate between Friday evening and Tuesday morning, but most were of a minor nature -- including a raft of noisy parties and liquor violations. Roger Dusome, 20, of Midland and Ronald Gravelle, of R.R. 2 Penetanguishene have been charged with assault, while Ronald Gravelle has been charged with impaired boating and resisting arrest. Byng leaves office to join a consulting firm % administrator and building inspector of- ficially ended his em- ployment with the town in a grand style last Friday.
