Charged by the Midland detachment of _ the Ontario Provincial Police on April 2, 1975, Jolie pleaded guilty to writing a cheque for which there was no existing bank account. On April 11, Jolie was charged with forging the signature on a cheque in the amount of $100, which he cashed at the Midland General Store, King Street, Midland. Jolie was charged on April 17 with uttering a forged document when he presented a cheque at the Midland Home Hardware store, en- dorsed with his forged signature. Jolie was convicted on the lesser charge of attempting uttering. Sentencing will take place on June 30, pending receipt by the court of a pre-sentence report. Conditional discharge Thomas G.
