10th year with Motorola Bill Vidler, plant manager of the Motorola plant in Midland, received congratulations from his workers last Thursday as he celebrated his tenth anniversary with the com- pany. He is the first Canadian to fellow achieve ten years of service with the automotive division of Motorola. French night classes okayed for St. Joseph's A night school, in wnich the language of in- struction is French, will be set up for the school year 1975-76 at St. Joseph's Publie School in Penetanguishene. The Simcoe County Board of Education last week accepted a recommendation' to establish the courses, which will be organized to last for ten weeks before Christmas, with another 'set of courses of ten " weeks duration beginning in January. The purpose of the night school is to enable families to improve their use of the French language through classes held in a variety of subjects, in which French is the language of in- struction. According to director of education Jack Ramsay, a report on the success of the night school will be 'given during the year. To stéy@i@ course, the board wo accept 15 as a reasonable number, he said, but sometimes a course may start with less than that number, in order to get the program off the ground. A principal would be required to handle the organization and ad- ini ion of the school and to obtain the necessary instructors. Area superintendent A.J.
