Since I can't vote that way, I can only hope that if the deal gets an overall "yes" vote on October 26, we northemers stand up and demand that Bob Rae give us fair representation by passing provincial legislation specify- ing that northern Ontario can never have less than a certain number of Senate and House seats. Anything less condemns Northern Ontario to political eunuchdom and assures the domination of urban Canada in politics, forever.
