He is celebrating his 35th year of the priesthood. He was ordained at St. Michael's Cathedral in Toronto in1957, but his first assignment was at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Thunder Bay. After that, he spent time in Ignace, Marathon and again in Thunder Bay before being posted to St. Mar- tin in Terrace Bay in January of 1985. To help him commemorate the event, each class at St. Martin School gave him a card wishing him happy anniversary, as well as a few pre- sents for him to enjoy this summer.
