It was owned by the same person who lost a puppy last year. That puppy was brought to me in Critical condition by two concemed citizens. It was in need of veterinari- an's care, but the owner refused to take him to the vet, and I had to have the puppy destroyed. This is just one example of abuse that pets face in our towns. I also have had many calls from concerned children who are worried about some homeless puppies.
