The library Boards from Terrace Bay and Schreiber participated in a library board orientation workshop Feb. 24 with Consultant Jan Smith from Ontario Library Service. A donation of non-fiction books on Scientology author L. Ron Hubbard have been received from the library. On March 11, from 2-3 pm, the public is invited to attend a performance by April (former- ly of the duo April and Susan) at Holy Angel's School. April is a gifted songwriter and one of Canada's finest family entertainers. The Read to Me family reading program will be hold- ing their final session for the winter in the Library March 12. This program is under the Reading Rising Adult Literacy Program. The Library Board has adopted a three week loan period for books, magazines and audio tapes. Videos will be on a 48 hour loan period. The Library has acquired all back issues of The Superior Angler. These publications are for in-library use only. The two story hour groups continue with full enrollment. Winter Carnival Accidentally left out of the list of the Terrace Bay Winter Carnival committee members in the carnival brochure were Judy Hackett and Sandra Mul- ligan, who are definitely part of the committee. Also, the cost of the pool tournament at the Sportsman's Lounge on Saturday is $10, not $5, as is listed in the brochure. And there's no such thing as a fly party--it's a sliding party. Plus, the travel night is at the curling club, not the legion, as listed in the paper last week. And there will also be helicopter rides.
