Members of the Terrace Bay Youth Group were on hand to help EAGER collect the cans. Organizers said they managed to collect about 200 pounds of metal, and say they are quite pleased with the community's response. For the next collection day, however, the group is asking people to try and make sure the cans are washed, and if possible crushed as well, before they are dropped off.
