New constable on the job for Terrace Bay town police Although no one else in his family is a police officer, Cir- illo said it was what he always wanted to do. He learned of the Terrace Bay job when it was posted in the York Police Department last summer. He was hired by the town on Sept. 23. Cirillo's wife Lorraine, whom he married last Febru- ary, will be joining him here Nov. 1. He said it's been a bit of an adjustment coming to a small town from the city, but he's fitting in nicely. The type and number of incidents he's dealing with here are considerably different than what he's used to, but that is also a nice change, Cir- illo said. "They take very well to strangers around here," he said. "It's a very outgoing community." Cirillo's introduction to the area was still a shock, howev- er.
