Page 11; News, Tuesday, May 7, 1991 Auxiliary sells calenders to raise funds for X-ray machine The McCausland Hospital Auxiliary will be selling Hospital Calenders this week, beginning on Thursday May 9 and continuing until May 16. This is not just another calender. Both the purchaser and the Hospital will benefit from their sale. The money raised will go towards the purchase of the new X-ray machine and the purchaser will have a chance at winning some cash. Auxiliary members will be selling the calenders on the street during this time. When you buy a calendar for $20 your ticket is placed in the drum giving each hospital supporter a daily chance for $10 and a weekly chance at $50 There will also be two draws for bigger cash prizes. On January 1, 1992 a draw will be made for $1,000 and on Dec. 31 another draw will be made for $2,000. There are 1500 calenders to be sold. The week of May 12 -19 is Canada Health Week and Hospital Auxiliary Week and the McCausland Hospital Auxiliary will be celebrating by selling these calenders. beginning Thursday , May 9 to the 16.
