Page 2, News, Tuesday, December 18, 1990 Schreiber O.P.P. ; 150 people have died ohol-related accidents this year. Police credit the persistent efforts of community groups such as People to Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (P.R.I.D.E.) and Ontario Students Against Impaired Driving (O.S.A.I.D.) with helping to lessen the number of impaired drivers on Ontario roadways. Education and enforcement go hand-in-hand in the endeavour to stop people who have consumed R.1.D.E. alcohol from getting behind the wheel. The Ontario Provincial Police urges you to support the R.LD.E. Program and the groups which attempt to combat drinking and driving. There is a need to strengthen the campaign during the month of December, a period when more people attempt to drive after drinking. Get involved! Share your ideas. Help your neighbour and. local police find ways to prevent drinking and driving. By working together we can make this a safe and happy holi- day season. : To find our more about how - you can participate in the 1990 Festive R.I.D.E. campaign, con- tact OPP-SCHREIBER-824- 2333.
