A skate to fame for Addie Beaulieu by Robert Cotton The News Adelaide Beaulieu of Jackfish Lake, awarding speed skater, from 1943 - 1956, has been named as a possible candidate for induction into the sports hall of fame of her home town, Dalhousie, New Brunswick. At recent induction ceremonies in Dalhousie, guest speaker Bill Donovan, administrative editor of the New Brunswick Telegraph- Journal, included Beaulieu's name on skates with razor sharp blades 15 1/2 inches long, requires Strength, stamina and most impor- tantly balance, Beaulieu said.
