After a dinner at the Schreiber Recreation Centre, teachers, families, relatives, and friends assembled in the LSHS gym to share the special day with the graduates. The High School Community Band played started off the proceedings with O Canada followed by an invocation by Reverend R. Elkin. Ruth Mulligan gave a memorable Principal's Address congratulating the students on their graduation and wishing them well in the future. Valedictorian Jason Shack gave a heartfelt address where he gave thanks to the teachers, parents, and fellow students who helped make the school years of the graduates ones they will always remember. He stressed how lucky the students were to live in a small town where the graduating class all knew each other. Jason also mentioned that the grad- uates had waited may years for this special day and now it had finally come. "Tonight is our night." The cassettes include ten songs featuring Parise's incredible talent on the banjo. . The recording took about two weeks and includes Parise on classic country tunes such as "Duelling Banjos", "Foggy Mountain Breakdown", and "Home Sweet Home". Four of the songs are originals written by Parise.
