Wednesday,_Jan 3, 1990 TERRACE BAY/SCHREIBER NEWS Pet Talk by Alice Scott Every New Year's Eve we make our New Year's resolutions. Some we keep, others are forgot- ten the next day. This New Year's I have some resolutions for all pet owners, and I hope they are never forgotten. 1. I will feed and supply fresh water for my pet every day. 2. I will give them affection and love. 3. I will never beat or abuse my pet. 4. I will prevent them from disturbing my neighbours, by consistently barking or using their property for a waste dump. 5. I will provide shelter and warmth for them. 6. I will not let them run loose | q and will build a dog run or tie | them with a proper Icad ( at least 7. I will not give them foods that will affect their health, such as candies, steak boncs, etc. 8. I will have my pet spade or neutered. 9. I will take my pet to the Vet every year for a physical exami- nation and annual shots. If these pledges arc kept then your pet will live a long and happy life.
