They also perform such musical scores from the Rolling Stones, the Doors, and Van Morrison and THis musical duo has been building and playing a repertoire of music and caters to just about every taste and they have been playing in the widest imaginable range of venues. When Jordan performed at the Royal York's Gazebo and Imperial Room, rock star Tina Turner would often come in and compliment her on her music. When the pair played the national anthems at a Cleveland Indians, Toronto Blue Jays baseball game, Hawkins said he felt com- pelled to carry the huge, and very awkward, 85 pound harp up to the pitcher's mound. "I wasn't going to let people see Joanna doing it, because the last time that happened we were play- ing live on the news program on Global TV, and the announcer made me feel ashamed that I let her do it," Hawkins joked. When in Terrace Bay, the duo will attend a reception afterwards where the public is welcome. _---------- DISCOVER MINERAL EXPLORATION Northwestern Ontario Mines and Minerals Symposium February 7 & 8, Thunder Bay Airlane Motor Hotel Mining exploration continues to be dynamic in Northwestern Ontario.
