Councillor Ed Borutski consid- ered priorities to be sidewalk repair, lots in the new subdivision if they are necessary, the purchase of a fire truck, purchase of property at Walker Lake to complete the access road re-alignment and the continuation of the library and Town Hall project. Councillor Ron McBride feels there is an urgent need to proceed with the acquisition of land for the cemetery and the development of the land for use as soon as possible. He wants closer attention to be paid to the Recreation Centre mainte- nance and for any necessary repairs to be completed. The town will apply to the Ministry of the Environment for the applicable subsidy funding.
