Page 12, News, Wednesday, November 9 , 1988 RECORDS ESTABLISHED DURING OCTOBER AT KIMBERLY-CLARK OF CANADA LIMITED TERRACE BAY, ONTARIO CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL K-C EMPLOYEES! No. 2 pulp mill produced a record 83 percent prime-grade pulp in October, surpassing the previous mark of 81 percent prime-grade pulp set in June 1980. In the latter half of the month, No. 1 and No. 2 mills produced 85 percent and 92 percent prime-grade pulp, respectively. No. 2 pulp mill digester efficiency was 92 percent of target The number of digester cooks was 2,341--surpassing the previous record of 2,277 set in August 1982. These outstanding results show the potential of the people and equipment on the "K-C team" here at Terrace Bay, and demonstrates continuing improvement towards our goal of being able to produce "prime-grade pulp on demand'.
