The Chapter night meeting of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 1426, was held on Dec. 6 and business on Dec. 21. Senior Regent Sadie Benko welcomed 23 co-workers at our meeting on Dec. 6, which was our annual Christmas party social. Social Service Chairman Denise Bolduc was in charge of the program. Enrollment took place welcoming five new mem- bers into the defending circle. Roll Call of officers and chair- men was given by Recorder Benita Vaillant and the treasurer's report was verified by Treasurer Annette Landry. Raffles: were won by Lorraine Desaulniers and Rachel Levesque. Pot of Gold was won by Denise Bolduc. A lovely cold buffet lunch was served by Denise Bolduc and her committee of Annette Landry, Aline Larochelle, Rachel Levesque, Danielle Gagne, and Darquise Lafreniere..." A lovely cake, decorated by Lise Hnatuk, was also donated towards the lunch. Santa Claus was present and distributed gifts to all co-workers present. At our business meeting, due to the absence of Recorder Benita Vaillant, the minutes of the previ- ous meetings were read by Kim Ten Hoeve. What really counts is what type of control you do have on your child.
