The Terrace Bay Recreation Department is pleased to announce the Swimming Pool was opened for public swimming on Friday, June 26. Sessions are being ae from June 26 until July 6 when swim lessons will commence. A temporary pool schedule and weekly swim schedule will be found elsewhere in this issue. Please clip and save. August Swim Lessons We wish to remind you that the Deadline to register for the August swim lessons is July 24. Children's Events at the Golf Course- Wednesday, July 1, 1-3 p.m. Also as part of the Canada Day celebrations, the Tot Lot staff are planning to have games and fun activities for children of all ages at the golf course. Bring your children and let them join in on the fun. Tot Lot News The mer is Tot Lot "87" Hey Kids! Tot Lot begins on July 6 and runs until August 28. The program will be held at the Terrace Bay Arena and if the weather is permitting, some of the events will be held outside. This year's staff includes: Heather Lohnes, Tracey Clarke, Tracey Moon and Paula Dodd (see picture). The staff has planned a various number of events which include: Arts and Crafts, Games and spe- cial days with exciting events for the kids. New Summer Hours We wish to inform the commu- nity that the summer hours at the office are now in effect. Hours: June 1 to August 31: Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 1-9 p.m. Please take note. Men's Slow Pitch The men's league is well underway for another season.
