Administration Staff meeting- The June staff meeting was held on Tuesday, June 9. Students were dismissed at 3 .m. End of school- Students will be dismissed for the summer holidays on Friday, June 19, at 3:45 p.m. Report cards will be given out by the classroom teachers at 9 a.m., Thursday, June 25. If your child is unable to pick the reportup at this time you may pick it up at the office during working hours (8:30 a.m. to noon) until June 30. : September- Students will begin school on Tuesday, September 8, at 9 a.m. They will be dismissed at 2:15 p.m. that day for a staff meeting. Program Sports- Track & Field- On May 20 the Schreiber Public School track team went to Terrace Bay to com- pete in our local track meet. The following students were successful in their events: Brenda Goodmurphy, Tracy Paquette, Shannon Long, Jennifer Martin, Derek Martin, Jeff Lauritzen, Mike Renaud, Barb Roen, Jason Chapman, Jordan MacKenzie, William Wheeler, Bobby © Joe Ferland, Shayne Chapman and Shane Long. The above students then went to Manitouwadge to compete in-~the district track meet on June 1. Our school did very well and finished in second place with Manitouwadge securing first place. Among the honoured was the school's senior Boys' Volleyball Team that captured the North Shore and Northwestern Ontario titles before proceeding to the all- Ontario finals at Glencoe.
