At 3 p.m. on that day, her fami- ly, friends and office staff met in Presentations were given to her on behalf of CP Rail employees. Also at that time, she received telegrams from previous bosses whom she had worked for and became close friends. Lorraine was taken to Supertest for a Chinese supper by her fami~ _ place. A beautiful poem outlining Lor- raine's life from when she was a child until present was read by her daughter Billie (included in this issue). From the supper, they went on to the Legion Hall for a social evening which was attended by her close friends, family and fellow co- workers. In the latter part of the evening, presentations were made along with many nice gifts and words of fond memories. the conference room for coffee and ly where presentations again took cake. The highlights of Lorraine's retirement was the surprise arrival of her sister Doreen from Angus, Ontario, and a long-time friend Tom Burke from Ottawa. PEDERSEN - Mr. John Eric Pedersen age 52 years of Terrace Bay passed away in hospital on Monday March 30th 1987. He was previously employed for 13 years by Falconbridge Nickel Mine and presently employed by Kimberly Clark of Canada for 21 years. Member of the Terrace Bay Minor Hockey, past Vice Presi- dent of U.P.I.U. Local 665 and was an avid fisherman and sport- sman. Survived by his wife Margaret, children Jay, Gilda and Michael, also survived by six brothers, one sister and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents. Removal will be made from the King Funeral Home Schreiber to the Terrace Bay Community Church. Funeral services on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. If friends so desire memorials to the Heart and Stroke Fund or McCausland Hospital would be appreciated.
