She told them to count the yes answers and the no answers in their heads as she asked them the questions. 1) Do you worry about how much someone you know drinks or uses drugs? 2) Do you complain about how often they use them? 3) Do you criticize how much they use? 4) Are you hurt by their behaviour? 5) Do they make holidays at home unpleasant? drugs has aftected their behaviour? 6) Do they lie to cover up their drinking? 7) Do they deny that alcohol or 8) Do they say or do something and then deny they said or did it? 9) Do they feel drinking is more important to them than you are? 10) Do they get angry when you criticize their drinking? 11) Do they drink at most of their social activities? 12) Do they spend as much on drugs or alcohol as they do on food? 13) Do they have financial dif- ficulties due to their drinking? 14) Are they away from home a lot? 15) Do they threaten to leave because of drinking? 16) Have you lyed for them because of their drinking?
