He presented the trophies to the The annual men's curling bonspiel at the Terrace Bay Curling Club had close to $3,000 worth of prizes awarded to the participating teams. The event had three spon- sors: Spadoni Brothers from Schreiber sponsored the 'A' event; Kimberly-Clark spon- sored the 'B' event, and Im- perial Oil sponsored the *C' event. The large trophies won the rinks will stay in the club, but the winners were also award- ed smaller trophies that they took home. The Hodges rink from Thunder Bay took first place in the 'A' event. They were John Hamilton, Ray Gagnon, Greg Hodges, and Mike Rubenick. Women's bonspiel There was a women's bonspiel at the Schreiber Curling Club over the weekend as well. The overall winner was the Judy Flear rink. Players were Judy Flear, Laurie Glad, Sandra Larivee and Hol- ly Smith. First place in the 'B' event went to the Linda Churchley rink. Players were Linda Churchley, Heather Vandergraaf, Sherry Jowitt and Gerry Strassburger. The 'C' event was won by the Betty Randa rink. Players were Betty Ran- da, Barb Dejonghe, Lorraine Prill and Sheena Randa.
