Theresa Stortini chaired the meeting. Father Peter opened with a prayer and Carmel gave the scripture reading. Mary Gentile read the minutes and the correspondence. Reports were given as follows: Treasurers report, Bernadette; Org- anization, Janet; Education, Jackie and Sandy; Parish Council, Spiritual, Carmel; Christian Family Life, Colleen. A set of slides of the Holy Father's visit was ordered and received. It will be donated to Holy Angels School. Plans for the penny auction to be hela Sept. 28 are going well. Donations can be left with Theresa Stortini at Schreiber Public Library. The Rosary for October was dis- cussed. It was decided to ask Rena Ross to convene it. The Scriptural Rosary will be held on Wednesdays during the month. The Rosary will be said after mass. It was decided that a pot luck sup- per will be held for the October meeting. Because our regular meet- ing falls on Thanksgiving weekend, it will be moved to Oct. 19. Every- thing is running smoothly for the bazaar. Jackie made an appeal for the good toys and small gifts for the children's table at the bazaar. Moved by Janet Moorey and seconded by Jackie Commisso that a CWL commemorative spoon and a thank you card by sent to Theresa Power.
