Terrace Bay Councillor George Ramsay was on hand at St. Martin School in Terrace Bay recently to assist with the presentation of caps, T-shirts, and certificates at the graduation ceremonies for Grade 6 and 7 stu- Bits and Bit By Helene Ballard Time for another wee chat...time flies. Our weather has not been too warm yet, but let us hope July and August will be better. I trust all you folks who come to Birchwood and use the northeast entrance will notice the new guard rail which our maintenance de- partment has installed for your safety. Now you can use this entrance in the winter with no fear of fall- ing. Our thanks to the home for this. On behalf of the resid- ents of Birchwood Terrace, VIP and VIP dents in the school's VIP (Values, Influences, and Peers) program. Here he is shown about to present the graduation package to Jeanette Fournier, 12, one of 28 graduates in Maxine Holland's class. I would like to thank the Town Council for the de- lightful Senior Citizens Party they hosted for us at the Legion Hall on July 19. Fifteen of our seniors att- ended and all agreed it was a really fun evening. It helps to be able to take part in outings like this. Guess it keeps us young at heart. On June 25 the residents enjoyed a Wine and Cheese Party hosted by the staff of Birchwood, which I am sure was enjoyed by all present. Our heartfelt thanks for all the kindness shown to us by our staff. So happy to hear that our beloved Dr. Adey will be back in his office if only for a few days a week. We all missed you, Doctor, and are grateful for your re- covery. I still notice empty pop cans and candy wrappers which have been thrown around. Come on, kids, let's get with it and use the trash cans. Help keep your town neat and clean. We were sad to hear of the passing of one of Ter- race Bay's respected cit- izens. Curly Hale will be long remembered. Our deepest sympathy to Mary, his widow, and his son Joe. Terrace Bay-Schreiber News, Wednesday, July 2, 1986, page 5 We need CANADIAN | SOCIETE yoursupport. Adios. Have you seen... Reveen? Have you seen the man they call Reveen? If not, you may want to go down to the Terrace Bay Arena on Thursday, July 3 at 8 p.m. to see this unique ent- ertainer at work. Tickets for the show will be on sale at the door. Reveen, who is a native of Australia but considers himself a citizen of the world, has performed in many countries, though his home base is Las Vegas, Nevada. He became interested in the potential of the mind when he discovered, as a young boy, that he could influence most of his young friends without too much difficulty. For the next 33 years he studied hypnotism, mem- ory training, telepathy, mesmerism, psychic phen- omena, parapsychology, and occultism, all of which led to his development of 4 Clean UpYour Act E/ Pitch-In Plata & Morrill Chartered Accountants Personal and Corporate taxation services, bookkeeping, auditing, Business advisory services For an appointment in Schreiber, Terrace Bay and surrounding area. call collect 807-344-6684 Superconscious Psychol- ogy. He is now recogniz- ed as one of the top auth- orities on the subject of the potential of the mind in the world today. What can you expect at a Reveen Revue, like the one scheduled for Terrace Bay on July 3? Perhaps no- thing you can expect. Every performer in one of his shows, according to a Reveen release, is an am- ateur from the audience, who volunteers to come up on stage during the aud- ience participation portion of the show. Such volunteers, in the superconscious state, may take part in a trip to the moon, work in a circus, or perform in an orchestra. Reveen has pointed out that in the superconscious state--which has nothing to do with the hypnotic trance state---latent inner potentials are released and expressed. He asks you to come out and see for yourself. That's July 3 at 8 p.m. at the Terr- ace Bay Arena.
