President Anne Mar- ie Martin presided with 12 members present. Shirley O'Reilly read the minutes of the last meeting and-Rena Ross gave the financial report. The Pen- ny Auction and Bake Sale held on May 4 was a great success. The Auxilary wishes to thank all the Ladies that helped. Also thanks to all who donated. The Ladies Birthday party was held May 24. A large crowd enjoyed the turkey dinner served by the men of the Branch. Thirty five year pins and twenty five year pins and Jubilee pins were given out and a social evening was held afterwards which was en- joyed by all. A fashion show 'and tea is being planned. Anyone interested please phone Anne Marie or Sylvia Aylward. Mrs. Muriel Shewfelt and Mrs. Dale Harton from Echo Bay are visiting Mrs. Marg Nesbitt. HS meeting scheduled By Daphne Monks The Terrace Bay Hor- ticultural Society held a meeting on Tuesday, May 13, 1986 which was attend- ed by seven people. The winners of the Mother's Day draw for those with memberships _ bought before Friday, May 9 were: S. Richards, M. Mahoney, C. Opas, S. McQuin, M. Simmer, K. Reimer, T. Korzinski, G. Legacy, E. Boyd, S. Broughton, G. King and N. Legacy. These twelve win- ners were each given a geranium plant. Two members of the society attended the District Annual Meeting in Dryden the first weekend of May. Dorothy Dove and Alec Cantley were elected as District Director and Assistant District Director, and Inga Iwachewski was elected as Secretary. On June 7 (see advertise- ment elsewhere in_ this issue) we are sponsoring a van from Creekside Nur- sery to come into town with plants, trees and shrubs.
