Schreiber 'Our top priority is the completion of the Fire Hall," the new Reeve of the Township of Schreiber, Mike Cosgrove, :said in his inaugural address to coun- cil on Dec. 10. He added that the coun- cil will also have to provide more residential lots as re- quired while, at the same time, remaining "extreme- ly budget conscious."' He said a new commit- tee system will be in- stituted, whereby all the members of council will serve on two different committees. Reeve Cosgrove told the new council members that they were all elected to serve the people, and with their co-operation he hoped to do this to the best of his ability. The election was held on Nov. 12. The existing community spirit was mentioned by Councillor Godin, who added that he hopes this spirit continues and grows. He felt the expansion of the present sewer system should be given priority, and also mentioned a study of the future needs of the community should be considered.
