Guess we will have to forget about weight pro- blems for a few days. This old gal was busy one mor- ning last week helping out in the resident's kitchen making Christmas cakes. There sure was a lot of yummy smells coming from both the resident's kitchen and the home kit- chen were Gerlie and Rosa, two of our able cooks, were making cookies. Makes one feel like a kid again. Boy, am I ever a long way from being a kid, but I can still let my mind go back down Memory Lane anyway. It is so nice to see the snow because that makes it feel more like the holiday season. One report of theft of gas was investigated: by Police, however the com- plaint was unfounded and had been a misunderstanding. Constables were called out regarding a noisy par- ty and the request of the Police to calm it down was complied with and no fur- ther action necessary. One male subject was warned regarding trespass- ing at the Recreation Cen- tre after having been bann- ed from the premises. After a second time the subject was subsequently charged 'under the Petty Trespass Act. There have been five motor vehicle accidents in the past week, four involv- ed over $700 damage each and one was minor. One Speaking of Christmas, just a word of caution. Please be sure your home is safe from all accidents. Don't use frayed extension cords or overload an outlet. Fires can start so quick and we don't want anything like that to happen to mar our holidays.
