Hits be: a singer and artist old Terrace Bay Police Police were called and investigated a theft from the Hospital. Theft of gas was reported by a local business and patrolling will subse- quently be concentrated in that particular area. Police were called upon to assist in locating a miss- ing local youth. After several hours the youth was located, returned home and all found in order. Two youths were severely warned regarding the dangerous use of air guns in the Townsite and instructed to refrain from using same in the townsite in the future as charges could be laid. Assistance was given to transients who were having difficulty during their travels. A complaint was receiv- ed from a local resident regarding someone driving over his lawn. One bicycle was reported stolen. Terrace Bay Police assisted Schreiber O.P.P. regarding a motor vehicle accident this past week. Thunder Bay Police re- quested assistance in locating a person regarding a compassionate message and this was complied with. Ontario Hydro reported an alarm had been activated in their substation at Hydro Bay. Further investigation revealed this was possibly due to high winds as no signs were found of forc- ed entry or any other disturbance. During the recent snow storm Terrace Bay Police assisted with road blocks and directing traffic due to the closure of the east highway. People are what make Schreiber a community and approximately half of Schreiber's people are women. Since women in a different way. than men do, the input from women is crucial if Schreiber is to be a good place for women to live in the future. A "Women and Town Planning" workshop is be- ing considered by Project Mayday in conjunction with Schreiber Recreation for early in 1986. This would help women decide exactly what their priorites are for Schreiber and how to implement them.
