Alexander GORDON X Trustee This week we will discuss a bit on scoring in Squash and Racquetball. Scoring is'so easy in Squash and Racquetball that you don't need to write it down to keep track dur- ing a game. The main thing to remember is that YOU can only SCORE POINTS when it is your turn to SERVE. If you serve and your opponent misses the ball you score one point. If you serve but later miss the ball, the score doesn't ehosae but itis stl bud Squash and Raquetball Report news. Your opponent takes over and serves ... maybe to score points against you. In Squash it is the first per- son to score 9 points who wins. In Racquetball the first person to serve 21 points. Must win by two points, if tied, continue until two point difference. William Hiller for Reeve My name is William Hiller and I am seeking the position of Reeve in the Township of Schreiber. | was born and raised in Schreiber and after graduating from Schreiber High, went to Lakehead University for 3 years ma- joring in business. I have 6 years ex- perience as a councillor, and am very for tickets call: MONSTER BINGO Moose Hall, Terrace Bay *2,000 JACKPOT Thursday, Nov. 21 Doors open at 6 p.m. Over *7,000in prizes Admission *50 825-9295 the knowledgeable of town's business. I have sat on all committees and chaired half of them over the years. Schreiber needs a progressive leader on council, one that is con- cerned about the future direction in which we are headed. I have been involved in the negotiating process with Falconbridge as a councillor and would like to continue to do so as . Reeve. With little industrial tax base we have com- pleted many costly projects without raising taxes beyond a nominal amount and kept Schreiber finan- cially in the black. As Reeve, I will continue to keep Schreiber financially sound. One of my main concerns has been the availability of land for housing, and this is being looked after.: We must con- tinue to plan for expansion of our Senior Citizens Apartments as well as our recreation facilities. As Reeve I would like to see the relocation of the town's garage and have council more accessible to the business community, the various interest groups and to you the individual. The Reeve must be a decision maker and answerable to you the public. I have the dedica- tion, experience, the time and energy to accept these responsibilities. Thanking you in advance if you should vote for me but make sure you vote. It's important! VOTE: Available, Capable, Caring, Willing HUARD, Lorraine for Town Councillor on November 12, 1985.
