Letters to the Editor Dear Editor: Our local School Bus Company which shall re- main nameless for obvious reasons appears to be hav- ing its share of difficulties. It has problems keeping good drivers and at present has no full time mechanic in Terrace Bay. Work is being done on the buses by a local employee of Kimberly Clark Service Dept. with no mechanical experience at all. A Class A mechanic comes from Geraldton once a week, but what happens in the mean time, who is working on the buses our kids ride every day? As for the drivers, one gentleman presently driv- ing has had many speeding tickets and most recently been charged with careless driving and convicted of this offence, his license had been bumped from a class "*B" which is required to drive a School Bus to something lower. This per- son still does charter runs with your kids and mine even though he is not per- mitted by law.to do a School run. Is this SAFE? Should this be allowed? Numerous complaints have been made but never seen to reach the owner of the Company for some strange reason.
