With Municipal Elections com- ing up on Tuesday, November 12th, Coun- cillor Chapman would like the citizens of our town to know why she is seeking that office. Her election motto is -"Accountable" ""Accessable" "Able"- A dedicated Councillgg who promises to be 4 dedicated Reeve. As Reeve, Coun- cillor Chapman proposes the following: (1) Get the town on a sound financial system. Institute a 5-year plan for all departments. (2) Investigate the pro- blems and solutions as to _ how the Municipality can assist in living accomoda- tions for those in need. (3) Investigate the par- ticular needs of our Senior Citizens, our Teen Citizens, our Handicapped Citizens. (4) Maintain Office Hours one afternoon a week at the Municipal Office, to be available to all citizens to discuss any problems and concerns, then go to the Council table. Youth Bowling on the Move Tiny Tots from 4 to 6 years of age and children 7 to 12 years of age have taken to the alleys at the Terrace Bay Recreation Centre Bowling Alleys. This is the first year for the little tots and the second for the older group. The pro- gram has approximately 50 youngsters registered and the concept originated with Reg and Ann Gagg. The Recreation Depart- ment was approached to assist and we were very pleased with the response. The program runs every Saturday for 7-12 year olds and every second Saturday for 4-6 year olds.
