The first ses- sion was Tuesday September 24th. Classes run each Tuesday and Thursday; the afternoon class from 2:00 to 3:00 and the evening class from 8:45 to 9:45 under the instruction of Betty Tate-Pineau. You must register at the Recreation Office before beginning your first class. Please note that Betty is also interested in in- structing an "Exercise Class" for those who find aerobics too strenuous, Also a class for "mature adults" will also be of- fered if enough interest is shown. To register please contact 'the Recreation Office at 824-2317. Babysitting Course The Babysitting Course will be run the weekend of September 27, 28, 29th. The course is designed to provide training for babysitters in child care, child behaviour and safety and to outline the obligations and rights of babysitters and employees. Registra- tion is open to boys and girls ages 12 and over. Maximum number of participants is 15 and if sufficient interest we will offer two sessions. Deadline to register is September 25th. You can register by calling the Recreation Office at 824-2317. Martial Arts and Dance Classes There are still openings for the Tri-Perfection Martial Arts and Dance classes scheduled to begin in Schreiber on Monday, October 7th. There are classes for everyone ages 3 and up in Karate, Self Defense, Super Stretch, Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Jazzercise. Classes will run each Monday evening running for 16 weeks ending Monday, February 3, 1986. Deadline for these classes is October 2nd. Call the Recreation Of-. fice if you are interested.
