Maybelle has liv- - ed in Terrace Bay for 21 years now, moving here from _ Schreiber where she was born and raised. She has 3 children - Cathy, who is married, and Carol and Darcy who still attend school. Maybelle works at Birchwood Terrace in housekeeping, and, really enjoys her job. When she's not working or volunteering, her leisure time is spent walking. "That's how I get my exercise. I love walking - especially on the beach or just up town for coffee and back again." she says. Maybelle is also a real Bingo fan, she attends them all. And as luck would have it, she recently won $1,000. on the "Scratch and Win"' tickets. She told the "News" she had a good time blowing all that money. Maybelle gave us this recipe from one of her cook books and says it's a favorite of her family. "Absolutely delicious." Barbecued Pork Chops 6 pork chops, trim excess fat bread crumbs 1 egg ' Dip chops in beaten egg, then in bread crumbs and fry until crumbs are brown. Mix together: % tsp. pepper % tsp. salt % tsp. cinnamon % tsp. ginger % tsp. allspice 3 tbsp. brown sugar 1 can tomato soup Y% cup vinegar Pour over chops and cook in 350 degree oven for | hour. "*You can now use Visa or MasterCard to pay your camping fees, guarantee your campsite reservation or pay for your annual vehicle permit," Natural Resources Minister Michael Harris said recently. With a_ guaranteed campsite already booked, campers will get a head start on the peace of mind they are often looking for when they visit a provincial park. Campers who prefer not to use a credit card may still have their reservation guaranteed by mail, if it is accompanied by a deposit.
