That's where the public can come in, advising its elected representatives to hang tough. For surely this is the first test of the resolve of the government which won such a huge mandate last summer. '*Now it is time for that government to show leadership in both those areas by refusing to ap- prove the postal increase. We could even exercise our right to send letters to our MPs without postage. Further- more, because they are usually sensitive to the at- titudes of the folks back home, we could contact their local riding offices. It's a long-shot; but worth a try.
