Henley 1) Marathon 7 Let's Get Active The Let's Get Active programme at the Terrace Bay Recreation Center started in September 1984 and has 29 active par- ticipants, one of the most active being long time resi- dent Clara Gould. Clara received a com- memorative plaque upon reaching her 700th mile. You can walk, skate, run or participate in any activi- ty, but register with the , Rec. Center who will keep a 'running 'total of your miles. They present a paper certificate upon reaching 100 miles, the plaque Clara received for the 700 mile mark, and the top prize is presented when you reach 3,000 miles. Clara is well on her way to receiving that honour. Clara told the NEWS that she loves to walk and ice skate. Not only does she walk just around town, but ventures out for hikes in the bush collecting flowers and whatever she finds that she likes. Clara is very proud of this award and so you should be Clara.
