In this tournament the age categories were as fol- lows: 8 to 12 years 13 to 15 years 19 and over There was no 16 to 18 years category due to lack of interest. In the 8 to 12 category Marc Fig- liomeni placed first, winning a badminton set. Second place went to Joey Figliomeni, win- ing a sweat shirt. Plac- ing third was Mike Spe- ziale, winning a gym bag. In the 13 to 15 cate- gory Kenton Klassen won the first place gift certificate from Birch's Pizza. Second place went to Mike Beno his prize being a T-shirt. Mark Wilson took third place, winning a tackle box. In the 19 and over category Steve Seches- ky won the first prize of a gift certificate. Holly Smith was second, her prize being a gift certificate for a movie rental. Judy Flear plac- ed third, winning sweat bands and a brush. Upon registration, each participant re- ceived a ticket for a special draw which in- cluded 3 prizes of a bad- minton case, badminton tacket and a badminton Dr. C.J. Summer Fun Program The time has come to say goodbye to all the great kids that participa- ted in our Youth and Tot Drop In Program. Bi- joyed the events. The car washes supporting the camping trips were great fun. Great inter- est was shown in the first camping trip as 25 children signed up to participate. The second camping trip had to be cancelled due to bad weather but the sleep- over which replaced it was a huge success. The last week was filled with special events such as the hot dog lunch, bad- minton tournament which were very suc- cessful, to end our pro- gram right. The Tot Drop In also had a very enjoyable and successful year. More and more kids attended as we progressed fur- ther into the program.
