Everything you need to mould and, shape your own works of art is right there in your kitchen. Bread dough sculpture is an age old art form and now has ' become imaginative and personalized. You will be sculpturing figures and dressing them and then applying the finish- ing touches. This course will be held on Friday March 30 (7-10), and Saturday, March 31 (9:30 - 12:30) in room 110, the Lab at the High School. Please call 3542 if you are interested. Ladies Weight Training Joey Kostecki re- cently ran a very suc- cessful 10 hour, Ladies Weight Training pro- gram at the Recreation centre. Another pro- gram will be held early this spring if registra- tion is sufficient. Pre- sently, we do not know the exact date of the program. Please call us if you are interested and all the details will be available shortly. Youth Weight Training __There are still open- ings for the Youth Weight Training pro- gtam which we hope to offer, with instructor Joey Kostecki, this spring. Exact dates will be announced as soon as available, the program will be 10 hours in length. Natural Food Cooking Scrumptious dishes designed for family eat- ing and taste appeal. Friday evening get start- ed with Yogurt, breads, beans, discussions and food testing. Saturday will feature baking, pre- paring and planning and singing at a family party at 5:30 p.m. Babysitting will be provided for Saturday if necessary. This course will be offer- ed by Jennifer Gar- ret of Thunder Bay and takes place on Friday March 30th (7-10) p.m. and Saturday March 31 (9-12 and 1-5 p.m.) The family meal follows, un- til. 7:30 p.m. This will take place in the Home Economics Room at the High School. Tole Painting Is there anyone in Terrace Bay who knows how to do Tole Painting, and would be able to instruct a workshop to pass the skill on to others? Tole Painting is a Dutch Art involving layering paint symmet- rically on tin or wood. If you are interested in teaching or participating in this course please call us at 3542. New Short Program Ideas The following short, interest programs are offered for a minimal charge by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, from Thunder Bay. March Break Results The Recreation De-S partment is hoping that all the participants in the March Break. Activi- ties at the Centre en- joyed themselves. The Ping Pong Tournament Winners on Monday were Chris Merkley and David Heinrich, Tues- day's Canada vs. Rus- sian Challenge Cup was an exciting time in the games room. The win- ner in the 6-7 year group was Tim Bigelow, the winner in the 8-10 year group was Dion Bozec and the 11-15 year old winner was Dale Wil- son. Thursday's Video Game Challengé win- ners were 6-10 years - Baseball - Tim Cash- more, Pac Man in the 6-10 year winner was Kevin Leclair. The older group played Journey and Pac Man with the winners being Dale Wil- son and John Olave- son respectively. Pub- lic Skating held a very strong interest for the participants and. the Bowling Alley Novelty Games had _ approxi- mately 80 young people taking part. Woodworking for Be- rs The date for our Be- ginner's Woodworking course has been chan- ged to: Thursday, April Sth to Sunday, April 8th. Please note that you can submit your own plans for your prject ideas, but they must be approved by the instructor before 'the course starts.
