Terrace Bay-Schreiber News, Wednesday, July 13, 1983, page 7 _Hilda's Fixins Snowflake Pudding 1 cup sugar 1% tablespoons unfla- vored gelatin 1% cups milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 1/3 cups flaked coco- nut 2 cups whipping cream, whipped In saucepan, combine sugar, gelatin and half , teaspoon salt, add milk. Stir over medium heat till gelatine dissolves. Chill till partially set. Add vanilla. Fold in coconut, then whipped cream, pile into 6-cup mold, chill till firm, at least 6 hours or over- night. Unmold, serve with crimson raspberry sauce, below is recipe. Thaw and crush one 10 ounce package frozen raspberries. Combine with 1 tablespoon corn starch. Add half cup currant jelly. Cook and stir till bubbly, cook 1 minute. Strain, cool. Makes 1% cups. Mr. and Mrs. Mills have returned from Parry Sound after attending the wedding of their son and new daughter-in-law. Chimo meeting was held in the club room for the last meeting till Sep- tember. 20 members at- tended. Mr. Fred Har- hess presided. A min- ute's silence was held for Mr. Bill Mullins and Mrs. Irene Moorey. Mr. Huck Gerow read the treasurer's' report in the absence of Mr. P. Guina and a film was shown. Mrs. Beth McAdam read the corresponden- ce. Mrs. Win Campbell read the card report. Many cards sent to sick and bereaved. Cards were then played and * lunch served. Visiting the Thi- beaults were Lil's sis- ter Jeanette Desjardins, Simone Evoy and daughter Karen from Montreal, sister Louise Rioux and Roger Reowe from Sudbury. A C.P.R. farewell party was held at the curling club for Jackie and Gordon Miller on Friday June 24th. The Millers are moving to Toronto - they were given a painting and other gifts also a lunch and dance was enjoyed. They will be missed by all. Good luck in your -- new home in Toronto. Visitors at Harnesses for Father's Day were Sylvia and John Stortini and Christine and Helen and Ora Mae, all from Sault Ste. Marie. Mrs. Ern: Hucul from Thunder Bay was down to visit Mom O'Connor.
