NOONAN William John Noonan died at the Oshawa General Hospital Feb. 17 following a serious ill- ness during the past six weeks. He lived with his daughter and son - in - law Mr. and Mrs. Donald McGarry, 356 Jane St., Oshawa, The late Mr. Noonan was born Nov. 25, 1893 at Lanark, Ont. He was married Feb. 19, 1919 at Lanark. A resident of Oshawa for the past 38 years, he was an em- ployee of General Motors for 30 years. He was a member of St. Mary's of the People Church and was a senior secretary of the UAWA. He was predeceased by his wife the former Julia Carmell Closs on July 5, 1964.
