Norman Heayn, secretary of the Port Perry public school board, said a $145,000 six-class- room addition is in the- plan- ning stages. The board now is waiting for final plans from its -architectur- al firm of Parrott, Tambling and Whitmer of Toronto. Me. Heayn said the addition will accommodate about 110 pupils from Scugog Island, whose school was closed down at the end of last term. "This will bring the Port Perry public school enrolment to between 650 and 700," he said. An addition to the Port Perry High School that will more than triple the size of the school, is currently under construction. Course Set Out In Management TORONTO (CP) -- Pharmacy graduates now will have to com- plete a six-month course. on store management before the Ontarie College of Pharmacy will grant them a management licence. A college spokesman, D. L. Maclanes, said in an interview Monday the course, set up after five years of planning, is de- signed to counter complaints that pharmacy graduates know only how to dispense drugs. Mr. Maclnnes said the first group of trainees will begin next May te learn merchandizing techniques, display, purchasing and record-keeping.
