WHITBY DAY - BY - DAY Past Presidents Honored By Parents WHITBY -- The 15th annual meeting of the Ear' A. Fair- man Home and School Associa- tion was held recently in the form of a 15th anniversary re- union, Mrs. D. Banks, the re- tiring president, welcomed the members. Parents of pre-school- ers and past presidents were especially welcomed. The meeting was divided with Mrs. M. Felstead explain- ing to the new parents, what children entering school are re- quired to know and would learn in their first year of school. C. Sarles outlined what he would expect of his pupils at- tending senior public school. Both speakers were thanked. CORSAGE PEESENTED Mrs. J. Frost was introduced and presented with a corsage by the president for being the only original teacher still on as follows: Mrs. C. Heard, 1952; Mrs. V. Harris, 1956; Mrs. C. A. Sturgis, 1959-60 and Mrs. D. Banks, 1964-65. All were pre- sented with corsages for their work through the years. Unable to attend were Mrs. J._M._ Hird, 1953 and Mrs, FE. Snow, 1957-58. Deceased past Ee presidents, Mrs. D. Holliday, 1950-51 and Mrs. L. Gibson, 1954- 55, were also remembered.
