(AP Wirephoto) New Face Seen For Alliance By BORIS MISKEW Canadian Press Staff Writer France is giviny the Atlantic Alliance a new face as the other members try to adjust to the idea of that nation's withdrawal from the integrated command of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. The determination of Presi- dent de Gaulle to change the Alliance, set up in 1949 as a defence against a possible So- viet advance in Europe, initially threw the NATO nations into distress. But time appears to be lifting the anxiety.
