Judith, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George K. - Drynan, has made good headway profes- sionally in Britian since her ar- rival from Oshawa last Septem- ber. She has already appeared on a TV show to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Westmin- ster Hospital. HARD WORK Judith did not reach her pres- ent TV pinnacle without plenty of hard work. She was a schol- arship student in Drama at the Banff School of Fine Arts for three summers. She instructed in Drama and Speech Arts dur- ing the fourth summer. One of her first big dramatic breaks was when she played the role of "Laura" in "The Glass Menagerie' for the Osh- awa Little Theatre under the direction of Noman Edmondson two years ago. Judith played the lead in such productions as "The Tempest" -- 'Taste of Honey" and "Am- erican Dream" for the Calgary Allied Arts Centre and the Mu- sicians and Actors Club last year. She also played lead roles in Calgary in several chil- dren's plays, including, '"'Beauty and The Beast' and "The Gol- den Goose", Two PLAYS AT OCVI Judith attended the Dr. S. J. JUDITH DRYNAN .. 'This Week In Britain' Show Phillips School, Oshawa Colleg- iate and Vocational Institute, and Ontario Ladies College. She appeared in two plays at OCVI and played the lead in the Greek drama, "Antigone" at OLC, The Oshawa girl also has her Grade 10 Speech Arts, Grade Bight Piano and Grade Eight Singing at the Royal Conserva- tory of Music, Toronto. She studied in Toronto with Mrs. Dora Mavor Moore in the New Play Society. .
