'Councillor Williams said it would cost money to absent themselves from their busi- nesses. He asked that meetings be held at night. Reeve C. W. Laycox reminded council of the hours the planning director and clerk spent at night meetings, with no extra remuneration, after working all day. Mr. Williams said he would discuss this phase of the work of the planning officials with the dinance committee. Councillor Ronald Chatten was appointed to a committee to study policy on multiple family housing.
