The club presented many musical selec- tions which were much en- joyed. Peggy Hancock and Jo- Anne dance. Sue and Nadia Quin- ton and Sharon Allin, a new and talented trio, charmed the au- dience with the rendition of 'I'm! In Love with a Wonderful Guy" Tina Kozub played a medley of. her own compositions on the accordeon. They included 'The Bobby Hull Polka "White Dove Tango' and '"Dizzie Liz zie Polka'. The Orono Brass Rand, directed by M. Tamblyn were guests The Drama Club, under the di rection of Mr. Amesbury, pre sented a one-act play, 'The Queens of France". Those tak ing part were: Leslie Stephen son, Anne Sorénson, Betty Couch, Candy Storks and Grant Wade The student counci! election was held last Friday. Those running for president were Sharma Ferguson, Kathy Tur- ansky, Karen Lee and Ray Kon- kel. Marilyn Hamm, Tove Jor- genson, Bey. Rickard and Tina Kozub ran for secretary. Hugh Allin sought the office of treas urer. He was opposed by Neil Allin, Wendy Cox and Shirley Mercer. For the office of publi city director the candidates were Brian Haick, Ruthe Hen derson' Eleanor McCracken and Jane Witherspoon The results of the election Teacher Cites Life In Trinidad BLACKSTOCK (TC) -- Ali Khan, a teacher at Cartwright High School, and a native of Trinidad, told members of the United Church Women of the life and customs of his native land.
