He was in his 8ist year and was a resi- dent of Brooklin. He was born in Michigan, son of the late Jonathan and Violet Ethel Bray, and came to On- tario when an infant. In 1909 he married the former Maude Cook at Prince Albert. Mr. Bray was a resident of the Raglan district from his early years and farmed there for 49 years until retirement in 1958. The deceased attended Pros- pect United Church and was a member of the Canadian Order of Foresters. For some years he was a public school trustee in tne Raglan district. Mrs. Bray is surivived by his wife and five daughters: Mrs. Reid Cook (Reta), of Whitby; Mrs. Harold McDairmid (Doro- thy), of Oshawa; Mrs. Harvey Attwood (Verna), of Whitby; Mrs. John Phillips (Noreen), of Toronto; and Mrs. Melville |Lambe (Jean), of Dunbarton. | Four sons also survive, Jack, |of Port Perry, and Harold, Stew- jart and Earl, all of Raglan. |Two brothers, George, of Rag- jland and William, of Oshawa, 38 grandchildren and 20 great- |grandchildren also survive. |, The remains are at the Rob- jinson Funeral Chapel, Brook- lin, for the funeral service in the chapel April 2. McCAMMOND A veteran of the First World |War, Frank McCammond, died |Monday in King's Moss, County |Antrim, Northern Ireland, He was in his 81st year. | He is survived by two broth- jers, Joseph and George, both of Oshawa. Mr. McCammond also jleaves four daughters, one son, jand a sister, all of Northern Ireland, DR. FRANK D. WALLACE NORTH BAY -- Dr. Frank D. Wallace, 80, who was princi- pal of Algonquin Composite School for more than 30 years, died in North Bay Tuesday. Mayor Cecil Hewitt said the city is saddened by the death of one of its most popular citi- alderman for five years. He began his teaching in North Bay in 1913 as a mathe- matics instructor. He became principal in 1920 when the school |had 'an enrolment of only 260 |students. When he retired in | 1953, enrolment was about 1,000, He was born at Belleville. He spent only six months. in high school before quitting to take a job. He lost his left arm in an accident and returned to school at the age of 18. He graduated from Queen's University in 1909.
